We found this wee place by chance and what a find. An awesome gem. Food absolutely   gorgeous  will definitely  be back. The service and staff were exceptional and they couldn't have been more welcoming  So many choices on the menu spoilt for choice.  Vegetarian options: Meals to suit vegetarians.  Parking: Lots of parking space.

Food is hearty and fresh. Have been a few times and was not disappointed each time. The desserts, scones, traybakes and selection of pies to take home is fabulous. Great wee place with local artists works decorating the walls. Love seeing local talent being spotlighted. My mum particularly loved the lemon meringue and I enjoyed the fresh apple tart with cream.  Parking can be a bit unaccessible for anyone with a disability or with a pram as it's on a hill but not too bad if you have support. Lovely wee spot to visit for lunch and a good selection of food on offer.

Lovely quaint country feel to the restaurant.  A very good mixed menu with loads on it.  I had prawn open sandwich with a portion of chips, all delicious .  The open prawn was really a big portion so I didn't really need the chips   ate them anyway my husband had chicken goujons and chips and said beautiful. We both had lovely Apple tart one with fresh cream and the other with ice cream.  Gorgeous.  Lovely friendly staff.  Definitely be back.

Had a good experience, a good Ulster  Fry, a nice wee tray bake and tea, and some friendly service, would return in a heartbeat and recommend to family and friends.

Went here today for Sunday lunch, I definitely would not go back for lunch, mash potatoes were cold not even creamy mash was not nice roasties were horrible didn't even taste like a proper roastie I think they were frozen, nothing special about this lunch, for the price they were charging .

Horrible experience. Food was below sub power, the staff were extremely standoffish and when complaining about the facilities, cold food and service we did not even receive an apology. As a party of 5 we will never return.

Food was OK but more what I would expect from a cafe than a restaurant. Having said that it wasn't expensive but was more than I would expect to pay for a cafe. Staff were friendly. Nice old wooden tables

The Prawn Rose Marie on Wheaten bread is to die for! Lovely staff. The service was great friendly staff highly recommended

We had an absolutely excellent breakfast at a very reasonable price, served by friendly staff, in a crystal clean setting.  What more could anyone ask for. Highly recommended.
