OK reasons why you're out of business: 1, your high prices when compared to next door and wetherspoons. 2, The attitude of the landlord. Examples, twice I witnessed him shouting at customers for quite trivial reasons, and I once put £2 into the Duke box at about 10.20 at 10.30 he switched the duke box off and said that he was closing they advertise until 11. As £2 isn't a lot of money, I never made a fuss. The bottom line is the attitude of the landlord stank which has a knock on effect on the atmosphere, and with the high prices, this is the reason why you are now out of business and it's only what you deserve. Moving on.... I'll give the newbies a chance. But, as they are the owners of Beetees, I'm dreading what they'll be charging. Especially because a pint of Carling at Beetees is £5.10. If that's anything to go by then it'll be short lived. I'll adjust my review accordingly...... Ok I went .in there with my mate on the 21/05/24 and my mate bought a lager and a cider for £10.20. OK just as I thought. You're too expensive even more then before. So sorry I won't be a regular. It was the same as before but without the attitude as the young lady who served us was quite pleasant and chatty which gave off good vibes. So for that, I've upgraded the rating from 2 stars to 3. Come my round, we went next door. As I've already said, I'm not paying those prices.
Drinks are a decent price, good evening atmosphere. Have not yet been here during the day. But it's an ideal pub to start your night, if you decide to drink in Trowbridge
It's the whole ambience of the place, the landlord is always a pleasure to talk to. He keeps a tidy house, and you are garintead a good pint, and as for the toilets he is second to none

Great town pub. Welcome and service was exemplary. Wish I had tried the food which seemed more than reasonably priced.
