Staff make it a enjoyable atmosphere and a place to relax

Good sized pub with reasonable prices. On most recent visits seems to be becoming a bit run down

Good place for weekend entertainment.  Excellent karaoke both on Fridays and Sundays, and top class disco on the Saturday.   The Sunday karaoke now has the very popular 'Sunday night singalong'.  No other karaoke does this as far as I know.

 Good beer (so they tell me - I don't drink), and cheap too.  Pool table, quiet area near the front door and well placed for a quick trip to the town centre shops or for a stop off before the bus station.

Sharon is the boss there, and well liked by everyone (not just because she's a blonde either).  Always a warm welcome and great atmosphere.
