Booked ahead Lovely table Great food Pleasant staff Highly recommend this place Another visit to the pub. Lovely log fire in the bar - but as i was on a tight schedule had to go straight to the back for the food. Food was excellent as usual, fast and efficient service. It's really is nice to finish off a lovely day in a very pleasant pub with lovely food. Judging by how busy it was i was glad i booked ahead. Well done Rob and the team for a great friendly service as usual. My one problem is choosing what meal to have - so far every one is really good. (why can't more places provide good food at a reasonable price).

5 of us booked a table for a birthday dinner we rang before to see if we could bring the time forward and the manager was happy to do that for us, the food was fantastic and the staff very pleasant and helpfull it was a treat and a delight to eat there.. the pub its self has parking and tables outside. Inside is a very nice country pub with authentic feel we will definitely be paying more visits

Very friendly staff, happy to accommodate late arrivals to our group (even timed the food to come out within 5 minutes of their ETA). Food was superb, very tasty and well made. Good selection of ales and wines too. Traditional bar and dining area layout, highly recommended

Very friendly staff and great food. Felt like eating in own dining room! Real ales available. Definitely be back again.
