I have been registered with The Cottons for 39 years and I can not praise the Doctors and Nurses enough. Okay sometimes you are waiting on the phone a little while, when booking an appointment, normally that is early morning when the phone is very busy.   Collecting prescriptions from the chemist was a nightmare but that seems to have improved now.

Pointless in having this surgery when you can never get an appointment.
I rarely need the doctors but on the few occasions in the last 5 years that I've tried to make an appointment, I am always told to call back again at another time and try to book for the following week!
Interested in how this online booking system has improved the ability of making an appointment when it shows as not currently available for this surgery?

Takes forever to get an appointment then when you finally do can be waiting in the waiting room for what feels like forever! New system in for prescriptions is awful and failing too. Waited half an hour to just put my prescription in to then be told it’s another half an hour wait for my medication! Ridiculous. I went home and came back 10 minutes before they shut to be faced with a worker locking me and three others outside in the cold and rain (they wasn’t even supposed to be shut yet) because they couldn’t deal with how many patients needed their prescriptions. After finally being allowed in the shop I got my prescription due to my persistence and there was still a queue of people in there who had been there on my first visit - poor woman on crutches had been in there for just over an hour!

Used the online system to try and get an appt. Choice of only one day over a week from now, a choice of only one doctor and only one time slot available! Needless to say i'll soldier on as normal. Useless! And dont start me on the issue of repeat prescriptions, such incompetance..beggars belief!

Local medical centre off the london road in raunds parking is tight at times but you can find a space two acssable parking bays by the front door with ambulance pickup / drop point outside the carpark is shared by the pharmacy next door. There is some off street parking outside the main site. Be aware of mobilaty scooter drivers. With covers on they can zip across and off the site unanounced to get home. Oblivious to Road traffic As they speed in/out of the site.
Will also park a pedesian vehicle anywere on the road and walk to the surgery door.
