Absolutely delicious homemade sandwiches and scrumptious mouth watering cakes. Friendly atmosphere and really nice & helpful staff in a lovely setting . Will definitely return & Definitely the best I've ever experienced in this beautiful place , Thank you so much for a great afternoon.
We had our wedding reception in the gardens ,everybody loved it.
Lovely little tea room with a quiet relaxing garden, the food was lovely and so was the choice of teas the staff are very friendly and polite will be going again, only gave 4 stars as 5 is perfection and that according to me is hard to achieve. Please be thoughtful with where you park as its only a small village and bad parking could soon bring the village to a standstill. A lovely experience which is highly recommended.
What a lovely place. My sisters and I took my Mum for her birthday and had the most wonderful afternoon. We went in November, so we couldn’t sit outside, but the tea room is very comforting and it feels like a step back in time. The staff are attentive and so friendly. Most importantly catered for my gluten allergy. We had an excellent afternoon tea of sandwiches and handmade cakes. There is a selection of tea and hot drinks served on beautiful crockery and to make it even more special the option of delicious sparking wine. Highly recommend to anyone in the lewes area. Already planning a trip back for my sister’s birthday in the summer so we can sit in the beautiful garden.
Delightful place to take some time out. Nice big garden with plenty of seating. Excellent afternoon tea and a little posy to take home
An absolutely delightful tearoom. A quintessential vintage English afternoon tea experience. Very quaint venue, I bet it's stunning in the garden in the spring/summer Excellent table service and communication via Messenger prior to booking. Very tasty vegan sandwich and cake options apple and toffee and chocolate cake today. Great range of teas to choose from all at a really good price. I would definitely highly recommend and will be popping back in the better weather. Thank you.
Quite a lovely afternoon in the village of Glynde. Situated next to the Old Post office, the tea rooms and garden are a great way spend nice quiet afternoon and have a snack. Choice of various teas Coffee if preferred . Followed by sandwiches, scones and cake. It was very relaxing just before Christmas. The garden would be lovely in the summer. The staff very friendly. Very nice
Delighted with this Tea Room. It's our third visit and we have found the service and the quality of food to be exemplary. All of our visits have been on warm days and the lovely willow tree affords cool shade. The owners seem really bothered about the visit and make you very welcome. The staff are always checking to make sure you are being attended to throughout the visit. We had afternoon tea with clotted cream and jam. Delicious. Previous visits we have enjoyed the platter for two. Judging by the number of people and popularity, we shall phone ahead in future to make sure there is sufficient room for us. The handy shop adjoining the team room is great for cash withdrawals and essentials, including Flint Owl Bakery bread and local diary milk.
Absolutely amazing little gem! Lovely staff Amazing food Beautiful gardens
We popped in the shop in search of sandwiches we could sit on the green and eat while watching the cricket. As the shop is part of the same concern as the cafe, they made us up sandwiches fresh to order. They were truly excellent, top quality sandwiches which were thoroughly enjoyed. The owner was brilliant, friendly and chatty. We will be returning, with a bunch of friends, for afternoon tea or lunch soon to enjoy the cafe garden.
