If I could give a zero rating I would. On delivery all three items purchased were damaged so refused to accept the delivery. When I called and spoke with Jessica I was told a new delivery would be sent out, on the day of delivery I had to chase to see what time to expect my items to be told the order was no longer being delivered as the items didn’t pass quality control. I requested a call back first thing Monday morning which I am still waiting for, when called was told someone would look into it. The customer service for this company does not exist and would avoid at all costs.
Has a wide range of furniture to choose from. Two very helpful staff, Julie and Lauren, who answered all my questions re kitchen furniture. Certainly worth a look if you are looking for new furniture either indoors or for the garden.
The worst retail and customer service experience I have ever received! Two years ago I ordered a chest of drawers, it arrived damaged and had to be sent back 2 days of annual leave wasted for waiting for the goods. I then unfortunately had to order the matching wardrobe this year. My money was taken 3 months ago, the company have attempted to deliver two separate wardrobes on separate occasions and both had to be sent back because they arrived damaged. A complete waste of my time and energy not to mention stressful. I have now completely given up on the company after three items have been sent to me damaged. I advise anyone else to spend their hard earned money elsewhere. The customer service I received was awful, I had to constantly chase them throughout every experience. I have also been told that I am not eligible for compensation because I sent back the faulty item, so basically unless you accept their damaged goods, they wont consider returning any of your money. This company don’t care in the slightest about their customers.

Great furniture shop. The furniture is quite solid. There is a wide range of colours to choose from.

Lovely huge store with plenty of choice and very friendly staff.
Poor mattress. Despite spending around £2000 on what I assumed was a decent mattress, within the space of two years mattress started sagging. Now in our 4th year, I am getting severe upper back pain. I had also bought other furniture from them - they are all fine. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A MATTRESS FROM COTSWOLDS - GO TO A BED SELLER/SPECIALIST.
i am thrilled with my furniture,quality and price.i ordered chester grey dining suite ,sideboard and dresser.i have no faults or damage and couldnt be happier.found the staff at chelmsford very helpful and patient as i took a long time deciding but i did not feel under pressure.
Great furniture, but my appreciation of it is marred by the drop and go approach. We’ve had 2 deliveries in the last two days, Neptune and Cotswold company. Neptune were friendly, understood their products, ensured they were unpacked, assembled and correct, then took away all the packaging. Cotswolds delivery team just dropped off the delivery and left. When I asked about taking away all the excessive packaging, they said I just needed to phone Cotswold Co and they’d send someone to take it away. So I did, to which I found I had to pay £10 on top of the thousands I paid for the furniture for them to take their packaging away I bought the furniture I didn’t buy or order the packaging. I of course objected to that charge which is outrageous for a supposed environmental organisation. I was told it would be discussed with a senior staff member and someone would call me back. Instead I get an email stating that the £10 charge is required and as I didn’t pay this outrageous fee for a service I didn’t know existed, when I ordered my furniture, a return visit would be required, even though I asked for Cotswold’s packaging to be returned when my furniture was delivered, I now need to pay £50 to have Cotswold Co come back and pick up their own packaging as a return journey is required. Quite frankly I’m appalled at Both how unenvironmentally that is, and how appalling and galling to charge to take away your own packaging.
