Lovely old pub , very good food and cider. Reasonable prices. Right on the Main Street.

We didn't enjoy our meal. The staff were friendly and polite and it looks like a cosy pub but the food really let it down. We chose simple pub fare because we could tell it wasn't going to be a fine dining experience (which is fine), but even that wasn't very nice. So as a result I wouldn't recommend it or return.

So lovely!!! I visited today with my family and was absolutely delighted with the extensive gluten free menu, since eating out is usually impossible for me. The two girls serving were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the food was fantastic and the pub itself was beautiful. Although I live an hour away I will definitely be back :-) Thank you for a lovely experience!!!

Extremely beautiful and charming setting. Been a few times, it does seem as if tourists are perhaps slightly less welcome than locals.

Nice pub, good food and selection of cider on tap. Staff very friendly, service good. My wife said her chilli and baked potato was really good, the only hiccup was my steak sarnie wasn't hot.
