Warm service, delightful pasties and delicious coffee! We were visiting the lake district and popped in often during our stay to have their pasty and coffee to go on our walks. Love their vegan option of Spiced Cauliflower and Onion Bhaji! Their coconut milk latte is also delicious!
Quite good. The scones and cream with jam were tasty. The sausage roll too. The flat whites today not as smooth as the last ones but not bad.
I visited the Cornish Bakery with friends, to sit down and enjoy an early morning coffee. The coffee was great, and I suspect that my friends and I will want to visit again in the future... and share our experience with others. It is dog friendly, and we enjoyed the company of a gentleman on the adjacent table with a very friendly and well behaved dog.
What a disappointment this was. I’ve been to a few Cornish bakeries many times and this is the worst one I’ve been to. Sad to rate so low but I have never had to eat or drink out of takeaway cups, paper bags before. No cutlery and milky tea. Very disappointing and unfortunately won’t be returning to this one
Good customer service, didn't have to wait long. The Cornish pasties are delicious, well cooked filling and just the right amount. The cakes we had were also delicious, white chocolate and raspberry muffin, almond brownie and carrot cake. Definitely recommend
Food was nice, but you couldn't have a conversation with your partner cos the staff were so loud in there own conversation. Couldn't wait to get out. We did bother with cake it was that bad.
Staff member put me off ever going back here as all she did was mouth off the shop, the way it was being run, the lack of stock & complained that she was sick of work/ being treated in ways by managers. She continued to raise her voice on purpose for everyone to hear and slam down cups whilst other two staff members looked fed up and awkward which was extremely off putting and I couldn’t wait to get out of there, girl with red hair it’s okay to hate your job but please be mindful of customers raising your voice for everyone to hear is not a good luck especially bad mouthing the business we are currently sat in, your turning away business as I definitely won’t be returning go and complain at the back , don’t slam down cups it’s so rude and unprofessional.
Absolutely disgraceful! Not only to be told at the till they don't accept cash but then after taking payment for coffees to be rudely told to move on from outside as they were closing. Considering they close at 6 they were rudely taking tables and chairs away at 5!!! No people skills, rude and unprofessional!!!
The Cornish Bakery is probably the only bakery in the town that remains open after 16:00 and delivers fresh pastries, savory items, snacks, and hot drinks. I enjoyed the chocolate croissants and double expresso greatly!
Food is very good. I love their traditional pasties. Also the raspberry crosant is very good and vegan as well.
