OK, it's no Waterstones, but it has a quaint selection of gifts and books which should suit most people. The highlight is the book reviews from local Christians. 
Good place to find out what's happening on the church-scene in Whitehaven and surrounding areas.

Great stock of Christian books and Bibles. 
Many versions of the Bible available, NIV, NKJV, MESSAGE etc.
Books for religious studies, devotionals, and fiction.
A Great range of children's books and Bibles.
Many gifts and cards for Christenings, birthdays and special occasions.
