Highly recommend. We really enjoyed a Friday night dinner. While it was great to see the restaurant was busy the service was quick, friendly and efficient. All of the staff were welcoming and ensured that we had everything that we wanted. Importantly our dinner was piping hot and served on warm crockery and the red wine was at the correct temperature. The venison soup and main were to die for. A must.
Had an excellent meal in the Boatshed on a Friday evening. Service was fast and helpful, whilst offering a really good choice right across the menu. The portions were generous and very tasty. It was also sufficiently busy to generate a relaxed atmosphere and on a cold and blustery evening outside, it was also nice and cosy inside. Highly recommended.
Polite and friendly. Good food. Not a cheap meal though but we'll sourced. Loved my Thai seafood bowl with rice. Great chips too.Food: 4/5
We had an amazing time in Boatshed restaurant. I made a reservation online easy and fast, the table was next to the window. Very very delicious food, the mussels and the haggis were top! Everything was perfect.
We had a lovely meal here last week the staff were very helpful and service was great, food delicious and well presented, it was rather expensive but we don't eat out often so was a proper treat for us.
Very nice meal fish & chips well presented & tasty, comfortable contemporary eating area. Lounge seating also available with a focal fire. Pleasant helpful staff & great coffee
Lovely food all reasonably priced and good service. Visited twice during our stay in Lewis. Booking is recommended even in the low season.
Top dining in the centre of Stornoway. Good habenero chilly burger. Loved the fresh fish of the day. Such tasty, fresh vegetables and sauce accompaniment. Shrewdly left room for dessert and loved the rich, chocolatey delice. White chocolate raspberry cheesecake was also wonderful. Great wine. Kids enjoyed their main and demolished their ice cream.
What a lovely setting inside, very modern and clean, the staff couldnt do enough for you, the atmosphere was fantastic, clearly a favourite with the locals, would recommend booking in advance though as it gets very busy. Had the fish and chips and beef stack both very tasty and filling.
Excellent vegan superfood salad! I was truly blown away by the flavour and quantity. Kids were also very happy with their extremely generous kids meal.
