Very attentive and friendly staff, food was delicious and I can highly recommend the Tablet Sundae. Very ‘on brand’ for a BuzzWprks venue with a stylish and clean interior.
Very comfortable experience. The staff were very sweet and attentive. We ordered the Thai prawn salad without peanuts due to allergies and the fish and chips. The portions were the perfect size - very filling but not heavy. The prawns/fish were not greasy in the slightest. But I do quarrel that the salad could have had a little more sauce! The price was reasonable for the quality of food. We were sat in a corner booth which was comfortable and cosy. The service was extremely efficient and quick. We were in and out within the hour, despite being relatively busy which was what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend if passing through the area.
I know, it should have been 5 but everyone has an off day. Food today was terrific, the staff were funny and friendly, ... the atmosphere was 'nice' .... in fact the only thing that let it down was the limited cocktail menu. Apart from that today was really good Parking: It's a bit limited, well, after all it is the Corner House ..... lol
The food is surprisingly good, for a small-town restaurant. I'd say it is probably one of the best restaurants in the area, ive tried everywhere. Much better than I expected. I loved the spicy wings with blue cheese sauce.Food: 4/5
Very comfortable restaurant with good food portions. An ambience of the 80’s with disco music, flamboyant decor and waiters in black shirts. The food? Well, it was okay, particularly if you like a lot of seasoning or none. The menu definitely takes you back to the kind of food we so enjoyed in that decade - and it clearly appeals to my generation when I looked around the busy room. Probably a little overpriced for what you actually get in terms of flavour, but the quantities of pasta or fries will make it up - hearty but not highest quality.
Excellent meal and best of all, wonderful staff & customer service.
Food delicious. Lovely place to go. Only negative i would give felt a little rushed between servings. Overall loved it & would go back.

Nice wee place for food... Food was nice all round .. Service was pleasant... Surroundings are nice.. 4 good lunches and drinks for below £70... Shall return...
I visit this place every week for breakfast. I very rarely visit for lunch/dinner. 95% of the time the service is perfect and the food is as expected. I visited yesterday for our belated anniversary meal. We had a sharing platter of nachos and paid extra for chicken. I think it was approx £2.50-£3.00 extra for the chicken. As you can see from the image all we got was 10 small pieces of dry pre cooked chicken. The platter itself was really poor. The cheese was cremated, the nachos were over done and the dollop of salsa and the dollop of sour cream were so small youd easily forget this was a platter for 2. Our mains were full price selections from the main menu, we didnt have choose from any offers etc. The macaroni and meatballs tasted lovely and was certainly plentiful but it came looking like it had been dropped and dumped back in the bowl. The Tandoori chicken skewers either needs to be dumped from the menu or the recipe needs to be checked. It was extremely rich and tasted only of uncooked tomato puree and powdered spices. The chicken itself was very dry and not the best. The mound of tandoori spiced tomato puree on top of it helped mask the dryness. Shockingly it took them just over 30 minutes to deliver a glass of coke to the table. It also took around 30 minutes for the main course to come to the table after the starter had been cleared from the table. The place was busy but was not full nor was it busy with large groups or tables. It appeared to be tables of 2-3 people. Very few excuses for the standard of food and the slowness of service. Given its location the bar prices are too high. At around £4.50 for a half and half shandy and the same for a pint of draught coke its not on a par with other nearby places. It cost just under £20 for 3 large glasses of the house wine. Total bill was just under £70. Cant say ill be back for lunch or dinner anytime soon. Breakfast thankfully is worth every penny. Based on this visit alone - Service 3/5, Value for Money 1/5, Food 1/5, Venue 5/5, Total - rounded up 3/5 .
