I've been here twice and had different things from the menu. Food has always been good quality and cooked perfectly. Portion sizes are also good representing good value for money. Limited drinks offering and food did take a while, but I didn't make a reservation and it was busy. Overall a good restaurant I will go there again.
Traditional Italian food very tasty and great value for the money. The only down side was the service was very slow and our group had to ask for missing items a few times and request the bill on 3 separate occasions before paying. I'm sure this is not the norm and is due to covid-19 issues i.e reduced numbers of staff members and getting used to the new norm.
What a disappointment! We were welcomed warmly and it went downhill from there on! We ordered draught Guinness which came out a can! The starters were OK, and we ordered surf & turf for mains. It was a great piece of steak ruined by the kitchen smothering it with rosemary and that's all you could taste! Perhaps if the kitchen staff put as much effort into what they cook as they do with the camaraderie and rude language that was on display to all customers to see and hear, the food might vastly be improved.
Fantastic service very friendly and attentive waiters and waitresses, open kitchen which I like as you can see what’s being cooked. Great food! 5 of us dined and no negatives, we will definitely come here again the next time we’re in Shanklin.
My husband and I stopped by today to look at the menus, we made it 9 minutes before the evening prices kicked in. The starter, steaks and banoffie pie were amazing but the service was even better! Richard managed to work out our personalities and was very funny with his service. It is the little things like giving my husband a teeny tiny spoon because he wanted to share my pudding instead of getting his own. Thank you all for a lovely meal. Billed as the best steakhouse in town and I must say the food was really good indeed. Our visit was on a warm evening so please make better use of the air con to avoid street fumes coming into the restaurant and it'll be perfect. Thanks for a very enjoyable evening :
Very disappointing and amateurish. My Mum and I ate there last week after casually coming across the restaurant. My Mum had a Pina Colada which had very little taste. I ordered a glass of white wine from the limited wine list but it wasn't very cold. My Mum ordered a medium cooked tuna steak which arrived very tough and over cooked. The waitress asked how the food was and did offer a replacement cooked medium rare. This dish came worse than the first, so chewy! The side salad was uninspiring and packed into a small dish. I ordered a sea bass filet and this too was very overcooked, as were the vegetables. Maybe the early evening meals were better value than ours; also the steak eaters seem to fare better. We did not enjoy our meal and would not recommend this restaurant.

This place is now called AMICI. It's an Italian restrestaurant like nothing I've ever experienced before. Outstanding. Service was friendly and the Chef was incredible. Penne Vodka, a Salmon and Tiger prawn creme tomato pasta dish followed by a Lotus biscuit cheesecake. OMG, died and gone to heaven!! No booking required and HIGHLY recommend.
