I had a nice tea break here, it's cosy and relaxed. I saw on the blackboard they had chai tea so here's the exchange I had with the staff: Me "Chai tea please" Staff "Creme brulee" Me "No, chai tea" Staff "Creme brulee" On my third attempt at ordering chai tea, the penny dropped: the menu said 'chai tea creme brulee'! So, I ordered it. Sadly, I couldn't detect any chai tea flavouring but it was a good creme brulee regardless and the shortbread biscuit with it was delicious. I really fancied some chai tea so I asked about their tea selection but regrettably they didn't have it so I chose earl grey. I asked the staff to consider getting chai tea in the future. In other news: loved the background music, nice mix of funk and disco.
Great atmosphere, good music, open kitchen, delicious food. We had brunch Omelette w/ goats cheese and poached eggs w/ avocado, will definitely come back to taste the burgers!
Lovely café. Can get busy. The food is great with a nice range of daily specials. Friendly staff.
Excellent food and friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.
It's called a CAFE, but there is no chance you can come JUST for a cup of tea or coffee. Very confusing. Doesn't look like restaurant, named as a CAFE, but it's for fine dining only.
Probably the best spot for breakfast in town. It has a good selection. I've had the avocado and eggs ask for bacon on the side! And the Mexican style eggs. Both were very good but if you want a recommendation go for the big breakfast. It's awesome. Staff give a great welcome!
We love to go here on a Sunday morning and make the trek across from Rathfarnham cos it’s worth it. The food is great, really tasty, well prepared and sourced. The staff are great and really accommodating in particular when you have 2 small people in tow. And the music ain’t bad either with actual DJs with real rock and roll experience. And if you ask real nice they’ll even play the Beta Band.
Probably the best service and most child friendly place I've ever been. They have booster chairs instead of high chairs, so you don't need a load of real estate and clutter around the table. The staff asked if we wanted toddler breakfasts before our own, to help keep the smallies quiet and fed Plenty of space and super accommodating staff made the whole experience amazing. I would recommend this place for couples with small children for sure, but plenty other couples/individuals and groups were in the place and there wasn't a massive amount of noise either.
A lovely place with good food, a cosy seating area and very nice staff
Greeted by a lovely gentleman, Guy. He showed to a table, no menu as all I wanted was the smashed avocado with all the trimmings. Holy cow, this was even better than I thought. Every mouthful burst with flavour. Nobody does avocado like this even so I had no room for dessert a. Again, yum, yum yum! Defo back for more.
