We came for an anniversary lunch and we're blown away by what we got! The food is exceptional, fresh and so flavoursome! Spicy where appropriate and in just the right side portions. Sharing is caring here! Special mention for a superb goat curry! Definitely coming back! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free
A no regret restaurant. They have variety as well as they bring about the right flavour to each food item. As the restaurant name suggests, most of the dishes contain coconut. If you're a coconut lover, this place is a must visit. Surprisingly, didn't see any dessert options. The ambience and interior decoration is very good. We ordered variety of dishes and enjoyed every bit of it except the pineapple curry in which the gravy was too strong
We had a lovely evening at The Coconut Tree Bath. Our server helped us understand the menu. The cocktails were fantastic and probably a must-have if you go here. There are non-alcoholic options that were just as fun as the alcohol versions too. We ordered a vegan spread - pumpkin curry, lentil curry, pineapple curry, cashew and green pea curry, chickpeas, fried mushrooms, and a hopper. Everything was delicious and well spiced. Our favorite curry was the cashew and pea curry. It was creamy with a little sweetness from the peas. I'd recommend 2-4 dishes per person depending upon your appetite. I recommend this spot. They also take reservations which is nice.
Went here during a short stay in Bath, and everything was so flavorful, fresh and comforting. The curries were excellent, but I especially loved the kothu roti, the cutlets and the hoppers. Service is top-notch and very friendly. Our server was so sweet, she even gave us tips on how to get to some hikes near Bath! Lots of vegetarian, vegan and GF options, too—something for everyone. Highly recommend!
Everyone at this restaurant needs a payrise immediately. This restaurant experience was the best I've had in such a long time. The food is unreal and affordable service was close to VIP level and the whole dining experience is truly fabulous. Plus the food, seriously this food. Insane.
Great taste! We loved the Sri Lankan pigs in blanket the most. Very special sauce. The hopper was a close second. Mushroom was juicy. Pumpkin sister isn't that great in my opinion, wished it was chopped or charred more. But we really enjoyed our lunch. One star off due to slow service but understandable since it was during the festive period. Dog friendly! Our little pom came with us
Great vegan food and prices are great too. Definitely recommend. Favourite dishes are fat sister and vegan kotthu. Cons - I did find that the food was a little oily thoughFood: 4/5
Amazing Sri Lankan street style food. The ‘can’t decide’ option on the menu was a nice way to try a range of different things. Decent range of cocktails available too at affordable prices and the staff were really welcoming and professional. Great evening.
This was recommended to us by our hotel in Bath and we’re so glad we went. The waiters were incredibly helpful and helped us understand the menu and also recommended some dishes. The food was very tasty and the cocktails were really good value for money, the mojitos were especially nice. If you’re in Bath I would definitely visit!
Great food and very friendly staff. We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and received a free drink. In addition, we had the expectation of half price food from previous offers and eventhough they no longer offered that they honoured the fact we booked our table with that expectation. Food quality was up there, everything had a good combination of spices and were unique enough for us to keep eating.
