I love this pub so much there’s live traditional Irish music what more could you ask for! It’s bit small and crowded but everyone is so friendly here especially the bar tenders. This was the highlight of my trip relaxing and listening to beautiful music. Perfect way to end my trip in Dublin. Highly recommend this pub it’s seems less touristy as well with more locals here.
I really wish I could give more stars. Just love this place even though it is crawling with tourists sorry it still retains a great local feel and locals visit it too! Delicious pints of Guinness and fantastic live and real Irish traditional folk music. This is what I came to Dublin for to experience and I love it. Highest recommendation. This pub looks very unassuming from the outside but the atmosphere inside is fantastic. There is a great selection of beers and spirits plus any flavour of crisp so long as it is cheese and onion! The staff are very welcoming and happy to chat. We'll definitely visit again the next time in we're in Dublin.
Had a quick pint at the cobblestone. The traditional Irish music was fun and the beer was cold and fresh. The place is a bit of a gem. Pity they don’t offer food or snacks.
It is a lil local pub that serves what I would guess is a good pint I am not a beer expert and has traditional music. Go for the music, it is really quite special, and stay for the staff - they are super nice. It is right by the Jameson Distillery Experience, so consider stopping by after doing that.
Slightly out of town. Lively atmosphere, in-fact too lively, we couldn't hear the musicians playing with loud punters chatting and shouting constantly. There was a sign that said 'respect the musicians' but that didn't work. I guess avoid late Saturday nights if you're after traditional music. I saw few tourists like us pop their heads in and leave. We left after 1 drink as I got a headache from the noise of people screaming, not the musicians.
Absolutely loved this pub... the traditional Irish music, beer selection and overall vibe was awesome. Highly recommend.Service: 5/5
They call it a hidden gem in a city filled with great drinks, music, and people. And they would be right. Here, friendships are made while musicians play their hearts out; the Guinness cascade from the tap, and hearts are bound together like cobblestone on a wintery day. Whether on a weeknight or a weekend, this place has friendly faces and regulars to welcome you to the warmth and music. You meet travelers, locals, and everyone in between, and conversations, much like the drinks, never run dry. I wholeheartedly recommend coming here once, if not more, if you want good company and great music.
If you are looking for a great neighborhood pub with the best service and prices on Guinness, this is your place. If you love live traditional music, you have to stop and take a squat here.Service: 5/5
Best bar in my 66+ years of life, and kids, I’ve been to LOTS. This place was slated to be torn down but the patrons and players there protested and saved it. Why? As my new best friend there Murtaugh told me, because it’s the last place in Dublin where real au-tentic Irish folk music is played live pretty much nonstop. He’s local, he’d know. Listen to these players. They don’t get paid, they just come here to make music together. Tourists and locals alike pack this place to hear them. If you are in Dublin, put The Cobblestone at the top of your list.
