Really clean and comfortable accommodation. Don't just put the postal code in Google maps or you won't find it. Staff friendly and helpful. Be aware while the pub photo shows games available they did not have any when we visited. Breakfast great with vegetarian options. Only one sausage on my plate sure I would have got more if I asked but... one ? Would recommend as a really good stay
Excellent service very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spacious....very comfortable and clean. The food was very nicely presented and prepared. A good selection of wines beer's and spirits. Lots of parking and access to the pub for disabled guests. Prices very reasonable.Rooms: 5/5
We were very pleased with our 2 night stay here: the welcome and the staff service was very helpful and friendly..... without being over the top. The accommodation was first class and spotless. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely pub situated just off the A27. The seating area around the bar is very welcoming and the food selection was great included full allergy details Staff for friendly and made of 5 year old daughter feel welcome. Thank you :Rooms: 5/5
Good service and clean food. Exceptional value of money in a pleasant village pub style location. Food & drinks: Decent food at good prices
The room was clean and spacious, the bed was big and comfy, the room design was warm and from a different era in a good way the tv was pretty big for a hotel and the bathroom was very big with a bath a shower and an entire section for toilet and sink. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and very nice, we even took extras and they didn’t let us pay for it, the breakfast service was as good as it gets the food was delicious the bread was well toasted and the scrambled eggs were creamy and hot The parking is free. I will be coming back to this hotel the next time I’m in the area , and I’m going to recommend this place
We arrived as a family of 4. Ordered some toasted sandwiches which all came out cold. Mentioned it to the waitress who was uninterested and said what do you want me to do about it. The bill came to over £60. Not a great experience which was a shame as the pub looks lovely from the outside. You would get a better sandwich in Wetherspoons…..
We came for lunch on 1/8/22, great menu, with lots of choice, lovely meal, perfect large portion, great service and very accommodating. Dog friendly too, a bonus.Service: 5/5
Nothing quite as bad as being disappointed. The meal I ordered was roast chicken breast with potatoes and veg, which was delivered to my table surprisingly swiftly. I couldn't complete the meal as the chicken was as tuff as old boots and cold, along with the cabbage. I wasn't really expecting a freshly roasted dinner but this meal certainly highlighted the fact that it was just heated up leftovers, or at least gave that impression. I find it peculiar that what seems to be a professional establishment disappointingly lets itself down with such poor quality and less than mediocre food. The waitress was completely dismissive and uninterested. There are better places to spend my money next time.
Didn't stay here but had lunch in the Pub Restaurant. Excellent food, lovely and friendly owner. Highly recommendService: 5/5
