Nice staff, decent selection and has pretty much everything you'd need. Granted it's a tad pricey but it does the job all the same. Never had an issue in here and always been helped when I've required it.
Shocking response to customer complaints store detective hanging around like hired muscle complete lack of any store knowledge! Not ran well out of date food in shelves and absolute disgrace
This co-op seems to always disregard the customers' choice on deliveroo orders to substitute items if they're not in stock and it just removes and refunds them. It's becoming a reliable pattern.
Visited post office today to sent documents for driving licence, the staffs were not even try to understand our conecern, not even ready to listen. It was a rude lady and never want to go there again

Having used this store for the last two years I have always found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. This morning my experience was the polar opposite. Whilst trying to use the self service checkout machines marked Cash/Card i scanned my first item then noticed a small hand written note saying card only. At this point I approached a staff member to ask for assistance and was told abruptly to wait. When the staff member came to my assistance he aggressively pointed to the card only sign and indicated I should not have used the machine. This was followed by him acting in a confrontational manner with zero intention of being helpful at all. Tried to call the store to complain but no answer and will be returning to speak to the manager.
This has been a co-op supermarket since the stone age. It's not really changed. There is a part of it that has changed a lot, however, a post office, electricity showroom and whatnot. But the rest has been unchanged for decades. Which is strangely reassuring. It has exactly what you would expect. I find it a tad expensive for some things but it does some things other supermarkets don't. It must be doing something right as it's a fixture. EDIT: Mar 2022 - Co-op must've read my review because it has been refurbished to bring the entire store up-to-date, and it is very nice. They even have self-serve check-outs.
My local supermarket, good selection but could do with some more variety. Stock usually very fresh as it's a busy shop & shelves get restocked through day. Shop also has Post Office in it which offers majority of services offered by Post Office.
Just placed an order which was delivered in good time. However, the bread and pancakes I ordered after 6pm which were for tomorrow's breakfast are best before date tomorrow. Therefore, these items are of no use to me and will have to be disposed of.
Good location and easily accessible entrance. Lots of varieties of food, however expensive. A big downgrade for me is the staff. And I feel bad, because there are some really kind and helpful staff there but from the experiences I've had, there are some REALLY unfriendly staff, asking you to leave just because they think you aren't trying to buy anything or something as ridiculous as that. Overall I wouldn't really recommend to buy your groceries there or anything really, unless you either can't find it anywhere else or if it's discounted.
