Worst Co op by far! It’s horrendously expensive, I mean horrendous! Layout terrible as you need to queue at one end by pillar in same line for post office so staff have to remind people if just for the shop to come over and everyone shuffles about. Some staff friendly while one or two others definitely not. They exist solely on location if a competitor came with better prices it wouldn’t last. Hate leaving bad reviews but each time we go I leave frustrated. The reviews speak for themselves. Ferring deserves better.
Online says post office is open till 7PM. Turn up at 5:50 and got told it’s shut. Useless
I am surprised that this shop is still open. Prices are atrocious. £3.50 for a chocolate orange £1 everywhere else. Just one example...
The post office side of this shop is awful. When it’s open they can only just about send a parcel for you anything more and they don’t know what there doing and say you’ll have to go elsewhere..... now the post office part is and has been closed for a while so had to go to another local McColl’s brilliant & they do postage between 6am to 10pm..so I go there now It’s opposite Toyota at the roundabout. Shopping in the co-op is again hit and miss, always queue’s & expensive so now I go to Tesco’s express, more choice and better value.
I would like to give a big shout out to the guys working tirelessly at the Ferring co op. Went in today and they were organising an orderly queue to get in and still smiling and being pleasant in the current circumstances. You deserve a round of applause too.
Good little store for people in the village. Friendly staff but sometimes not enough to serve at the check out. Have almost everything in one store I.e. Post office , cash machine. Plenty of offer from time to time.
A useful local store and PO, quicker than ASDA even with the short queues. I'd give five stars but it is costly.
Its a worst co-op ever. They advertise closing at 10 but its some how always close before then. Its not reliable at all.
Slow Post Office service, staff don't know what they're doing half the time. Very poor.
Terrible service - poorly run post office more queues than enough - indeed I go to the next coop away and can generally get there and back before my wife
