I live nearby and decided to try out the winter warmer menu. The food was very good and the service friendly and efficient. Three courses for £23 was very good value for money. It was good to see some items in the menu that you don't always find such as the beetroot salad starter. An enjoyable evening.
The hotel is so well kept and beautifully decorated in the main areas and the rooms themselves. The view from the dining area/restaurants is amazing in the mornings from any area of the room but if your lucky to get there early grab the table at the bay windows. The food presented lovely and tasted fantastic.
Had a fantastic time New Years Eve. Brilliant party atmosphere. Fabulous food. Thoroughly recommend the Cliftonville. We have stayed there before and always had a lovely time. Great breakfasts too. Friendly helpful staff. Feels homely and relaxing.
A beautiful Hotel with a relaxed feel full of splendour and vintage seaside feeling kind of Art Deco as well as Edwardian.nnThe hotel bed matresss was so comfy and the black out curtains great and opening up to that view amazing.nnLove the cosy room , sea view to the piernFront of house welcome and Reception 11. Out of 10.nnA few let downs with poorer service waitresses and bar. Mess up with my main birthday meal a soup rather than main, to do with lack of attention and care nSad as not reflective of overall.nnI worked in this industry so see but, was very forgiving on this occasion.nnBetter hairdryer would be appreciated. As no good for long hair. A travel dryer, finger in the button so difficult sorry xnnWould like to return.
My wife and I spent 2 nights at Clifftonville to relax and celebrate our golden wedding anniversary.nThe hotel is quite beautiful building with a great sea view position.nThe staff are very friendly, helpful and hard working. They made our stay even more enjoyable.nOur bedroom was very clean and comfortable.nCromer is beautiful any time of the year and we will definitely stay again.nThank you.
