Sad to see Aberfoyle looking so run down but stopped in here for a bite to eat on a very cold day. Friendly and efficient service. Food piping hot and reasonably priced. Worth a visit and better than other cafes nearby. Kids menu available and dog friendly.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food and drink prices. Food fantastic, Guinness simply magic. Best place to eat and drink in Aberfoyle, right next to the co-op. A must visit.
It was bad, when we went past was full so thought a good sign, we was wrong. Reason it was full cos food was so slow. Garlic mushrooms were just packet and frozen and no salad garnish, the waitress noticed that we should have had one and brought it. Chicken curry OMG tasteless and seemed that they had run out of power so used cornflour to thicken it, as like jelly gloup. Some lasses in waiting for there food, they had a bus to catch so did ask lots of times for their food, all but one came, she asked was told 4 minutes she waited another 20 minutes at least the waitress got her it in a take away tray, but had the cheek to still charge her. Honestly don’t go it’s rotten, the chief can’t cook.
Friendly staff with food that was OK. The inside of the Bistro has some stunning shelving with all sorts od bits and pieces... Overall a good place to while away some time

The interior and look of the place is nice and staff friendly but the food really lets it down. I left feeling hungry after given a rotten baked potato.
Steak pie was tasty but terrible portions...walked away still feeling hungry, I get that steak is expensive but even the veg and chips were scarce...potatoes cost pennies, really wouldn't hurt to add some more...wo't be going back.
Small food portions and our peas were cold. Rest of food tasted good. Friendly staff

Good decent early dinner. Can be a bit quiet at that time. Portions good. Quality of food good.
