Beautiful church well steeped in history and well maintained . The tombs were worth a slight detour for the castle and of course its free

Very large, great tombs worth reading about.nUnusual layout. Lovely church chest

Stopped outside to drink my coffee. There are lots of benches and a bin on site. Decided to go inside and have a look. Lots of historic items are found inside with a very clear laminated guide found inside the porch, which describes key features and information on who is buried inside in what tombs. Well kept. Cctv is inside just in case vandals stop by to ruin things. Large church with a lot of character with it being unique to be home of one of the 3 certain church roof interiors in East anglia. The other two are found Norwich way.

Great Church Grade 1 listed and the burial site of the Howard family . You will also find Henry Fitzroy first Duke of Richmond and Hrnry V111 illegitimate son here . The Thamar Organ one of only three surviving is of significant importance  but I was most impressed by a rather simple cross and the baptismal font . I know I am wierd  . This is well worth seeing if in Framlingham full of history beauty and splendour.

Well maintained church in the centre of Framlingham. A shirt walk away from Framlingham Castle.
