Hard to believe it dates back to 7c AD. We were lucky enough to bump into the Father who gave us a private showing. Beautifully conserved interiors.

Fine old Saxon church, it's been around longer thsn there's been an England!

I came by today to find a new service to attend but was shocked at the attitude of the fellow worshippers. Let me just say manners are free! To the few who were respectable humans, Well Done!

We visited this place a few years ago with my wife and our son during our second visit to the lovely Seaham. You literally can touch the History, when you visit this place. The little corner of the old England. Will visit again when in Seaham.

Did not expected how rude they greet people! Appalled seeing how they speak to people coming in with inquiries. Time to find somewhere else to worship. Deeply, truly disappointed

Fantastic little Saxon church. Really worth a visit if in the area.  I was not able to gain entry inside as was locked.  Real shame.

Great saxon Church, lovely stain glass windows, views out to sea , no access for cars but only a short walk from the beach.

Seems to be one of the churches used for history research by Ken Follet for his book The Evening and the Morning.

Fab preservation by dedicated group of people.
