Hi everyone, I hope you guys remember my recent post when I said I was attending church today for the first time! Well I just got back and it was amazing the message I got was about planting a good seed and to neglect the bad seeds I have allowed to be put into my life and to water it with the pure water we receive in guidance from our lord and saviour Jesus Christ . Follow our prophet and spread the truth and that my new church family will forever be there to support me when times and situations may put me to test . Thank you all for your support and thank you to my elders for supplying me with the Mormon bible . God bless with love - matt United kingdoms
This church is incredible! The love and closeness to God i feel in this building is indescribable! Talk to the lads with black name tags if you have any questions, they help me out so much!!
Stay away. A money swindling cult based on the fantasies of a man who after inventing an entirely new 'bible' about Jesus visiting America maybe he fancied a hot dog, decided to marry his own step daughters and other married women. And don't get me started on the throat cutting temple ceremonies. Or the creepy 'purity' interviews between a leader and a child. Or the history of racism and homophobia. Or you could give 10% of your gross income to a church with $100B of invested funds that uses money expected to feed mouths to buy Amazon stocks.
Service runs from 10 to noon and was very spiritually uplifting! The people there were friendly and welcoming to us.
Amazing place to worship.. we were made very welcome . Every member spoke to us. The spirit is 100% in this meeting house.. we will definitely be back ..thank you xx
An amazing place, full of people paying 10% of their income to believe in the words of a man who got those words by putting his face in his hat to look at a scrying stone he found in a well. He would then tell Oliver Cowdery what to write. The "golden plates" were never involved in there own translation! So there's that.....
Very warm and friendly church, open to anybody that wishes to join them on Sunday worship from 10-1 if you have questions look for the lads with name badges
Extremely welcoming.
