From the moment you walk up into the church through our spectacular entrance and enter The Bar on the ground floor, you will be over whelmed with the magnificent interior. Every aspect of the original building has been meticulously restored. No expense has been spared in ensuring the quality of materials and craftsmanship necessary to create the perfect atmosphere to enjoy your favorite tipple in this uniquely historic building, yet the mixture of old and new make it a true original...

We serve 3 Premium Lagers, 4 Real ales, Guiness and Ciders all on draught along with a personally produced cocktail and wine list for you to choose from.

Appealing food is a big feature of what we do here in The Church and the The Bar is no exception. We serve an extensive A La Carte and Specials Board menu, 7 days a week. The spectacular surroundings together with the ambiance and atmosphere of The Church allows all of our guests to have the best possible experience

Great restaurant and bar with wide selection of drinks and food in the heart of the city. You can sit in the terrace outside and enjoy the weather or enjoy the classic cozy ambience inside. Prices are reasonable and portion is decent. Service is quick and staff is friendly.

Slow service and full of loud young people  not paying any attention to social distancing. Appreciate the effort. We just picked the wrong venue for our age group.

Stunning place. Decorated well. Menu is very good. Lots of choice. Staff very friendly. Bar is immense. So much choice.

Out side space is good and the interior decor is .... Churchy. Which is nice. Could do with some more beers and vegetarian selection though... Also hard to get a table at late notice... On busy nights

Good food, good service. Felt safe with all social distancing measures perfectly in place. If you're in Chester give it a go.

2 4 £8 cocktails no skimping on measures as per usual those deals. Helpful attentive staff. Clean comfortable and relaxing setting.
