One of the best fish & chips I've ever had. Great quality, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
I don’t know where to start except by saying that was the best fish, chips and peas I’ve ever eaten. I’ve never had a fish so large that it didn’t fit on the plate! The fish was so fresh it tasted like it had just come out of the sea and immediately cooked. Not only was the fish massive, it was chunky too and the batter…..wow, crispy, light and delicious. The chips were traditional chips and again tasted really fresh. The peas I could tell were oozing flavour. Finally, I have to mention the staff who were all smiling, polite and helpful, you can tell that it’s a happy work environment. After enjoying my meal so much, I don’t think I could eat fish and chips from another chippy. This is a hidden gem that is seldom found.nnFinally, to cap it all off they gave me 2 bottles of beer on the house as I was leaving.nnTo summarise, there is no better fish and chip shop around Glossop/Tameside and full credit to the owners for creating a magnificent chippy :-

I think the pictures say it all. I usually struggle to finish fish and chips but these were so good. Lovely crispy batter, no grease, beautiful fresh fish. Bit generous with the salt but I did arrive on my bicycle
Regular chips? I’d hate to see what a small is, most of the chips bitty and hard.. rubbish tbf at the prices it is
