Nice fish and chips. Cod freshly cooked to order. Curry sauce tasty. Enjoyed eating it overlooking the sea at Llanrhystud.
When I am staying at Trefenter I always pop down to Llanon and buy some yummy food from here. Loads to choose from and nice chatty staff. Easy parking and a fab little local shop opposite. Great nearby walks to the sea . The dogs love it.
Possibly the best chips I have ever eaten ! Pleasant service with a smile, even if the shop was very busy.

Brilliant local Chippie. Friendly Staff and great food. Highly reccomend the curry sauce Its old school chip shop curry sauce..... 5* Parking: There is public parking behind the building, by the public toilets, albeit it is about 50metres away from the shop itself.
Need to alter your website opening times ! According to your website your open every day apart from Monday & Sunday, when we arrived on Tuesday evening you were closed, not good especially when your on holiday not knowing the area & travel over for food & Google states your open now !
The reviews and pics look good but not in our experience probably the worst fish and chips we have ever had . The fish was under cooked so the batter that was half inch thick was soft and soggy and the chips were only just warm . Expensive to nearly £17 for 1 Fish and chips , one small fish and chips, carton of curry , carton of peas and a fishcake, to be fair the peas were OK
I wish I could give a higher rating but I really didn’t rate the food. I understand it’s been taken over recently and the staff are super friendly. It was quite expensive for what we ordered 3 meals cost over £20, which we wouldn’t of minded but the quality wasn’t there. The chips were ok, but they were wrapped in polystyrene and foil lined bags making them sweat and become soggy. The battered sausage and fish were super greasy and not crispy at all and we all felt quite unwell afterwards. Shame as we really wanted to support a local business but it just wasn’t to our taste. Hoping this was just a one off!
Beautiful fish, crispy Batter, crunchy chips. A must go to place.
