My wife and I  recently met with Rob Roberts of the Chester Partnership to sort out our life cover and also to discuss options around our mortgage.
Rob was professional and clearly very knowledgeable and gave us some great advice.  He is exploring a range of options for us on the life insurance side and will report back with his recommendations.
On the mortgage side his advice was reasoned, well thought out and above all was a common sense approach to our particular challenges.
Rob is able to get across the technicalities of the issues in an easy way with his easy but professional manner.

I recently met with Rob to arrange my 3rd mortgage with him. I have always approached Rob for mortgage and financial advice over the years, his advice and knowledge is outstanding. He is extremely passionate about what he does and has now become someone I can trust with organising mortgages for me. I have recommended Rob to family and friends who now have shared the same experience. Richard Larkins has been looking after our financial interests since we retired some 10 years ago ,Richard has given amazing advice which has improved our financial well being way beyond anything we could have achieved on our own using banks and building societies .

clearly ,all your future needs and aspirations are taken into account before advise is given .

Professional, independant advice.

Getting close to 'that age' I seem to be getting lots of offers both in the post and via cold calls to review my retirement options.  Fearing that pension advice will soon become the next PPI furor whilst also feeling both concerned and confused about my options I needed some trusted advice. 
I found these guys via a mutual friend, a fact finding telephone call was scheduled to discuss my situation and agree next steps.  
I was called promptly, Rob listened to 'my story' and concerns.  Rob asked relevant searching questions, gently probing to check I had contingency plans and covered key areas.  A few blind spots were uncovered and a few options were flagged that I hadn't considered. The call lasted less than 30 minutes and Rob followed up quickly with an email summarising the keypoints. 
In my case I was looking for independant reassurance and advice on what I already had in place, Rob was happy that I was 'in control' and equally happy that no further action was required at this point.  I am confident that should I need more help in the future, or if indeed anything was needed right now, then these guys are well placed to help.  Rob was inciteful without pushing me into signing up or transferring my pension, which was great because other contacts I've had fill me with dread as all they are after is your pension pot.
