Great place. Not very child friendly but it doesn't state that it is. Not to busy very spacious. Food is a good price very cheap but you get what you pay for . Will do the job on a Sunday afternoon

Great food choices. Steaks where really nice, staff helpful and it was busy and clean. Service a little slow at times but again, it was very busy Saturday night.

Plentiful seating is available in this tastefully decorated family gastro pub. There are lots of tasty dishes to choose from - with perhaps the sizzling skillets being the most appetising. Portions are a decent size and the prices are good value in comparison to similar venues. Parking is a little limited and costs £1, although this can be refunded by purchasing food.

Nice pub with ample parking, good seating capacity, nice food, and offers on beers. Tried their Nachos and fried mushrooms. The place is ideal for a friends gathering.

I have just had a meal in the newly refurbished Chessington Oak, which promises Sizzling  Dishes. I was very disappointed as my steak was tough and it certainly was not sizzling when it got to the table. On a more positive note,  my husband had the sweet and sour chicken which he enjoyed.  However, it was not sizzling on the skillet either and it sat on a huge pile of semi-cooked onions.  Come on Chessington Oak, you can do better than this. Had anyone come to the table to ask if we had enjoyed our meal, I would have provided some constructive criticism.  It is a real shame as it is a pub within walking distance for us. Unlikely to hurry back.
