Beautiful location, absolutely idyllic. Went for Sunday lunch but have to be honest, a little disappointed. Food wasn't really hot and whilst nice, wasn't anything special. Dessert was a crumble, filling of apple was a mush and the topping didn't appear to have been in the oven. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely but not sure I would eat there again but definitely go for a drink.
Never visited before, just searched Google for places to eat on our way home. Very welcoming, sometimes in small pubs, can feel like its locals only , but wasn't the case. Nice menu and food was good. Would definitely revisit.
Highly recommend to anyone! Great food and prices. Bar staff are terrific and really accommodating. Been there 4 times and have never had anything wrong. They currently do takeaways as well.
Lovely location and the chocolate brownies are delicious. But...we waited half an hour for our quite expensive main course, my burger was overcooked and I would warn customers to check your bill for the 10% service charge.
Popped in for a swift drink, and then decided to have some food too. All was good but thought £4.00 for a dozen chips was extortionate.... Won't get caught out with that again.,.. service charge is added too...
Great atmosphere, food and wine. Throughly enjoyed a farewell dinner with family before returning to New Zealand and, of course, the NZ wine was excellent
We had lunch, cannot fault the service and the food was excellent. Such a tranquil location, would recommend and certainly will visit again.
Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Set in a lovely location with good walks nearby. Wasn't particularly busy which was perfect to have a good selection of seating and fast service. In my view the food menu isn't particularly inspiring but everything we had was freshly prepared and well cooked. Great for children, particularly because of the ice cream machine and milkshakes.
Lovely as always. Roast lamb was gorgeous and drinks in a sunny garden after food, always a bonus!!!!
We had the burger with camembert and it was to die for, little one had the home made nuggets. All the food was clearly home made and didn't disappoint. Will be back. The garden area is well kept, with a sectioned off bit for those who don't have dogs. Plenty of seating. Thank you for a fab lunch
