Jackie, Steve and their team of friendly, knowledgeable staff warmly welcome you to The Cheese Shop, Holmfirth.
You'll find us on Norridge Bottom behind the Old Bridge Hotel.
We are passionate about bringing you the best local, regional and world cheeses. If there is any cheese you fancy that you can't find just ask us and we'll try and source it for you!

Great little store with a fantastic range of cheese which you can try all before you buy. Very friendly staff can’t do enough for you. Worth traveling too for sure.

We visited Holmfirth on Thursday 5th April 2018 and discovered this wonderful shop. The ladies were amazing and especially the 'L' lady! Super welcoming and great service. I bought the Wensleydale and loved it. Would recommend to all, a delight in the Dales! xxxx

Great little shop nestled away! Staff are very friendly, there is a great selection of cheese and reasonable prices! A must-visit in Holmfirth.

Poor service, rude and upfront staff. Shop is freezing cold. Employees clearly dont want too be there. Unwrapped cheese when home and it was mouldy which was unsurprising too me after seeing the state of the shop. Flies in the fridge, cling film not wrapped properly, floor dirty, over flowing bin, etc. Would not recomment to anyone. Bad value for money, e.g. the Montagnolo (ther “special”) can be found at co op for half the price.
