We were visiting the area on Easter Sunday, so was really pleased to find they were open. Plenty of seating inside and out. Lovely little cafe with friendly staff. The food was delicious, the coffee fantastic and the location great. Away from the busy and more expensive sea front. Located in the centre of town with disabled access and street parking nearby. I always advocate moving away from the tourist hot spots to find these little gems.
Very nice, the food is excellent and the staff were very accommodating and friendly! Great variety and selection of traditional English meals.
I have eaten here twice but believe me NEVER again!!!!!! I had the all day breakfast. I had to ask for some more serviettes as the bacon was swimming in grease as was the plate. I don't know what was used to cook the food but it didn't taste good. The mushrooms tasty just like oil. I left most of the bacon. For one hour after eating there I had a VERY upset stomach. The first time I ate there, I had an omelette, which was also very oily. Should had learnt from my first experience. One thing in their favour, the staff are very friendly.
I've been here a number of times. A little away from the crowds. The food is OK and prices comparable to elsewhere in town. The person in charge was new on this visit ... lovely and very hospitable. Makes a big difference.Food: 3/5
What a little gem. We visited here whilst away and having a walk around the town. We ordered a ham and cheese toastie, sausage and bacon sandwich and some chips - all were amazing, really good quality produce. Staff are very welcoming and polite. I would highly recommend this cafe.
This is a great little cafe in the seaside town of Sidmouth,we popped in here for a breakfast sandwich it was absolutely lovely packed with bacon and two eggs topped with a little tomato ketchup and washed down with a nice cup of tea...The staff were very welcoming and friendly...I can highly recommend this cafe if you need something to eat or drink...
Very nice nice place to get a quick bite to eat or a full meal while out and about in Sidmouth, UK. There is a good assortment of tasty vegan/vegetarian options too. Their prices are also reasonable.
What a lovely little place. Myself and my partner have just eaten the best breakfast whilst our little pup was treated to biscuits. The staff are so friendly and the quality of the ingredients and how they were cooked were on point. Will be returning for sure on our next holiday to the southwest:
This was one of the only cafes on high street that was open before 9AM. Kudos on them for that alone. Unfortunately because of that they were also fairly busy and only had one staff member working the floor. Took a little while for our order to be taken but the server was doing his best and was incredibly kind. Crumpets were crisp and delightful and the coffee was hot!
Tasty and good value breakfast. Staff were great. Recommended!
