Had a fabulous meal last week. Fillet steak was superb. Decor rather dated and staff seemed rather bored. But no complaints regarding good. Would highly recommend.
Me and a mate were camping close by to the Chardonnay so we gave it a try. I was very impressed. The food was excellent and the service was very professional. Their homemade mayo and warm bread were a highlight and the meal itself was delicious and well presented.
Enjoyed this restaurant very much and will go again. Food is top notch and very tasty. Service is extremely attentive. You can peruse menu while enjoying a drink in the bar area with complimentary olives and bombay mix. At the table there was wonderful free bread and free ministarter. We then had the 3 course set menu at £16.95 each and had chicken in satay sauce followed by beef bourginon and mash. Husband had ribeye steak. Dessert was floating islands meringue in sauce. Only slight improvements could have been some soft music and updated decor but they are just small points that don't affect enjoyment. Delicious food and highly recommended.
Food was very good and appetiser bread was amazing. The service from the waiters was excellent. Unfortunately the experience was tarred by the miserable hostess who was unable to crack a smile all evening and incredibly rude to us as a group on the whole especially when taking the drink and food orders.
I had to respond to a couple of negative reviews I saw here...we first went a couple of months ago and have been back twice and fast becoming firm fans of this establishment. The welcome, atmosphere and theatre are great..and when you get onto the food and the value..I think it is hard to beat their offering. I have made a point of varying my choices always so far from the midweek inclusive menu and have not been disappointed. Definitely worth a visit.
Haven't been for 10 years. Food was still very good but the interior decor is worn. Didnt mind the dated look though, just needs some tlc.
The best restaurant in the area bar none. Gorgeous food with wonderful service. And excellent value for money!
