This school has quite a few amount of actual good teachers. But that's not what I'm trying to point out here.nnAs a student, this school is making it harder and harder to go through finishing school. What do you mean they're adding a one-way system on Nov 4 and there isn't an increase in the time???? What do you mean we still have 3 minutes to go to lessons??? What kind of nonsense is that?? This may control the so-called 'flow' of the students, but it does NOT improve our punctuality a single bit.nnThey told us not to do laps around the school, but they sooo intend to make us do laps. For example, if I'm in F1, and my lesson is F27, I have to do a WHOLE lap just to make it there.nnThe teacher who made this rule should have had a meeting with the student council about this. They could have at least increased the time to 5 or 6 minutes, due to the amount of slow walkers and crowds that will be made. We can't even go in the opposite direction because we'll get sanctioned by the teachers standing around. And they care way more about the one-way system than the many students' thoughts about it.nnNot to mention, the locked-up toilets. If ANYONE needs the toilet at all, shouldn't they be allowed to go, whilst accompanied by a note from the teacher like they used to do?? And instead, it's always the students with the 'pass' that get to go, or if they do get to go, they have to go to the two toilets in the refectory that could queue up.nnI would've gone back to London and went to a way better school than this, no matter how strict. If anyone is planning to send their child to this school, please, do not. Worst school, can't even begin to compare it. I feel genuinely bad for every single soul that has to go to this school just because their parents love it.nnJudge a book by its cover.
The school is run by some good teachers, but I feel the school is not managed good enough the teachers get rude and defencive when confronted with a matter. For example, the school toilets gets locked through lesson times and very few toilets gets opened during breaks, long queues are formed then they chain the toilets. It feels like my daughter goes to day time prison and not a education institution! When spoken to the head of year 11 Mr Tappin, he is rude and sounds in a rush to get me off the phone! There is no professionalism, I know Luton is a deprived area but the teachers can make the school standards a lot better. Unfortunately, I have no choice in sending my daughters to this school due to personal circumstances. If I had the choice I would never send my children here.nnA parent is not listened to, the teachers would take action against a parent with just here say information. I feel the staff just do a tick box exercise with their policies and procedures!!n****Very poor school Unfortunately to say.
Hello, my son was a bright student when he joined the school, however my son has complained about the poor education and the general school system, the teachers dont teach properly and according to my son u make them read of the board. Terrible school.
This school is so useless,nn- chewing gumn- wearing a coat inside a school buildingn- wearing necklaces and other stuffn- drinking juice or oasis in lessonsnnWont affect my learning,
The school condones racial discrimination simple facts. My son was racially abuse and my daughter and cousins currently going through the same thing and nothing is being done about it. Waiting for a new school place. We are black and proud. #lovetheskinyouwasbornin.
