Had my flu and COVID jabs today. In and out within 5 minutes. Thank you Dr Blease.
I came in the morning to get an appointment with my GP. Receptionist can't get an appointment any sooner than 5 weeks time. She asks what it's about. So I tell her I've got an unexplained lump on my head. She says I can either call 111 or go to urgent care. After a phone call to 111, I end up seeing a pharmacist. Who then gets me an appointment with my GP later that afternoon. The receptionist told the pharmacist she'd never have sent me away if she knew I had a lump on my head. Cheers for the lies
My 2 star review was removed, so I've reinserted it. The comments remain. My wife and I have never seen or been invited to see our assigned GP, my wife is 78.nThe initial automatic phone welcome indicates that appointments are triaged by a GP. This is incorrect. The receptionist decides when you get a phone appointment.nI was given a 3 week wait for a telephone consultation. Within 12 hours of posting a 2 star review my appointment was cancelled and I received a new appointment with an additional one week delay, due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.nAppreciate that resources are stretched but surgeries need to be resourced better than this. When I call I get the impression that the staff are harassed. That is not good enough.
