Having just watched England win 2-0 it is my favourite pub to watch Englsnd win 2-0 in. The pub was well spaced out, covid secure and the Long Man was smooth. Pasties looked amazing.
What a lovely pub! Four of us two couples popped in on Bank Holiday Sunday, such a warm welcome from Rowan and Katie. The pub was spotlessly clean, a really good selection of beers for such a small pub, which were all really well kept Harvey's and Guinness. They've created such a nice atmosphere in such a lovely 'snug' pub. Our taxi driver had let us down, and didn't turn up on time for us to get to a restaurant, which we had booked. Amazingly, Katie's Parents popped in and offered us all a lift. Highly recommended, .
Has changed hands a few times over the years but current owners have now got it as a locals pub. Nice wooden style decor, 3/4 real ales, good choice lagers plus ciders. Now doing a pub grub menu. Well worth a visit.
Nice friendly attitude. Got here quite late thinking they would be closing up, was made to feel very welcome. It attracts a nice crowd. Will definitely stop by for another if passing.
New management! Fun & friendly atmosphere, good beer, great food. On a personal note, the new landlord Rowan saw me a bit worse for wear outside and invited me in to make me some food on his day off so I could feel normal again! How's about that for service? Kind, friendly and helpful staff and management. Many thanks! Highly recommend!
Lovely little village pub, friendly and with good beer and with a chip van outside on Wednesday evenings, but has no garden.
Nice location, good beers and service.
Just want to thank you for the lovely time we had last night. The service was top notch and we look forward to coming back to eat a vegan burger one day. Keep up the awesome work!
Friendly, cosy, beautiful open fireplace. Quaint pub in the village. Good food offering although we did not eat. Stopped for a cuppa and a loo break . Newly refurbished the lovely lady said behind the bar. Will stop off later in year for a supper visit!
Warm reception from landlady and barman. Selection of ales and a cider on handpump. Lunches served most days and dinners on latter half of the week. Also Sunday roast available. A lovely open fire adds to the warmth. My chicken and mushroom pie was served with excellent mash and two veg. There's a pub quiz every other Wednesday yet to be experienced.
