Great surgery - doctors here have been very attentive, understanding and empathetic. Lovely receptionists too. Used the triage system before and have usually managed to book an appointment, of course this is all dependent on severity and urgency, but I have never been left waiting for overly long periods. Well-stocked chemist adjoining, so handy to get your prescription as you head out. Would recommend!

Fantastic surgery - have to wait a little while at time, but the staff are incredible. Very thankfully for their support.

Surgery was very helpful in treating my daughter. Thank you!

Normally good experience apart from one doctor who is refusing to give you medication when you're ill and tells you to either wait for 24 hours or let it go away on its own... not impressed with that...

My personal opinion. Waiting times for an appointment are CRAZY. But I guess this reflects the amount of sick people that are out there and an ever increasing populatuon. A couple of GPs are ok. Nice enough, and professional. The lady Dr Davies was approachable and kind. The male Dr Davies has a very direct and old fashioned bedside manner. I should imagine the older generation respect him greatly, and he was very jolly. One of the receptionists is particually nice and helpful. Sadly I don't know her name, but when phoning for an appointment and feeling already worried... It's a warm welcome. Just how it should be. I did tell her that she did not come across as a doctors receptionist as she was so calm and nice. She should be a nurse! However the reason for my review is my last two visits to Dr O'Leary and the fact that I want to feedback before I change surgeries. I have always 'put off' going to the doctors, and literally agonised over a lump for months as whilst they are nice enough, they always appear somewhat dismissive. They must get driven up the wall with a lot of people, and I should imagine compassion and an open mind can wear thin. However Dr OLeary is clearly in the right profession. She is kind, actually listens, is on a 'normal human being' level and has the ability to be thorough and do her job whilst making patients feel completely at ease. Sadly we move out of area soon, so I will then have to change my surgery. However, medical colleges wide and far could learn a lot from her nature and I hope she goes home each day knowing that her efforts to just be nice, make such a difference and it could be the difference between someone getting checked, and something major, getting missed. I would advise anyone who genuinley feels unwell but unable to face the GP.. to see her.
