I recently stayed at the Castle Inn, which was a great experience! It's a great family run bar, with accommodation. We were made very welcome by the family and regulars, who gave us a list of places to go and see. We only managed to visit a few places on the list, so will definitely be going back to check out more in the area. The food was extremely good. You can't beat home made chips!

Owners were very welcoming , room clean and comfortable breakfast bar full of cereal and fresh fruit. Great cooked breakfast. Very much the focal point in the village.Rooms: 5/5

Exceptionally good atmosphere. Felt like we were staying with friends. Excellent food and more than plentiful. For a pub stay the room was excellent - So good that we stayed a week. Perfect base for exploring the local area. Would definitely stay again.Rooms: 5/5

Great staff, friendly atmosphere and good entertainment. I've been here a few times now - a good selection of drinks and food is good. Great for entertainment with the quiz nights, I hear there's also open mic, book club and much more. A great little pub in the heart of Wigmore!

Steve & Karen are , Wonderful Hosts, made us so welcome, we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble for them . The food was excellent home cooking, and best breakfast we have had in years !!! , As were the evening meals !!!  . And such generous portions. We highly recommend the castle inn , and the beautiful countryside around Wigmore in Herefordshire. Margaret & Tony

We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Castle Inn and everything about our stay was excellent. We were made to feel so welcome by the friendly family who run it, the food was great and our room was perfect. The bed was comfortable and we slept really well each night. The village was so peaceful and the locals friendly. We couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at The Castle Inn. Steve, Karen, George and Sam were very welcoming and helpful. Super friendly, great hosts.  Very clean and safe environment.  The food was really good home cooked, local produce and plentiful.  A lovely village and place to stay.  Good location for exploring the area and Wigmore Castle.Rooms: 4/5

Excellent service absolutely lovely idyllic place to stay. Different food on a friday so never the same but always 100% top notch grub that up u have to pop that button on your trousers. Spotlessly clean rooms great friendly family run pub. Parking on site, cant say a bad think about the place. 100% worth a stay over especially if you like your history and walking /cycling. Perfect place. We will definitely be returning in tge very near future. Karen stephen and the lads we will be seeing you again soon thank you so much

We booked 2 nights at The Castle Inn as we were attending a wedding nearby. Karen & Steve are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble and there’s a lovely atmosphere. Food is great, rooms comfy & clean, would recommend a visit

We stayed here for 3 nights and we had the most wonderful welcome from Karen, Steve and the boys. A lovely buffet was laid on for the England v Italy game. The breakfast is to die for. But foodwise I had Fish and Chips one night and I have never had such lovely batter ever. Thank for the lovely stay, we will definitely be back. Much love from Glyn Eileen and Janet.
