Really lovely meal, better than expected. Most of the mains come with an array of sides – salad, potatoes, chips and veg – which makes for a very big meal if there are just two of you. I opted for the “Triple Take” combo, which was good. The dining area is very spacious, so you don’t feel like you’re on top of another tables – this is particularly unusual for a table of two, which I often find are cramped and placed wherever there’s space. Only criticism is no one came to take my payment at the table – perhaps they don’t do that here. We waited quite a while, then paid on leaving. It would have been good to know if that was the case when we arrived as it was a bit of a waste of time. That being said, the staff were very polite. Lots of parking, admittedly went on a weeknight, but practically parked by the door even though inside it was half full.

Really good food and atmosphere service was excellent and welcoming. Staff young and very helpful, I had the chicken which was lovely spicy and lots of veg and chips.Food: 5/5

My mom and I visted The Carnarvon for a drink and dessert. The staff were all pleasant and greeted us straight away.  Although the kitchen was closed for meals, they still allowed us to have a dessert. We were promptly seated, and didn't have long to wait for our delicous well presented desserts. We asked for our thanks to be passed onto the kitchen staff, since they weren't technically serving but we're happy to have prepare or desserts.

I've been here a couple of times each visit the food didn't disappoint, amazing! Service fabulous and staff always welcoming and friendly... Definitely recommend and will be back again soon!Food: 5/5

Absolutely superb. Such friendly knowledgeable staff who delivered outstanding customer service. Timings were perfect from ordering drinks within a few minutes of being seated to giving us enough time to choose from a menu where we were spoiled for choice. 6 in our party and all meals came out together, all piping hot and delicious. Drinks were replenished when needed and the whole experience was wonderful. A real pleasure. Well done & thank you team Carnarvon !!

This restaurant never fails to deliver. Great food, good selection of beer and lovely staff.  Always a friendly atmosphere that never disappoints. Been several times and everything time seems better than the last.  One of those places that makes you want to book again as soon as you leave.Food: 5/5

Visited for an evening meal on a Tuesday evening with some work colleagues, with modest expectations. The food was good, and well flavoured but the service made the evening. All the staff were very friendly and engaging and seemed to be enjoying their roles.  Will definitely visit again

Amazing pub, beautifully decorated with pub side and more formal dining areas. Food was freshly prepared by talented kitchen staff. Will be back for more.  Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, no steps to main door

Throughly enjoyed, Booking is advisable gets very busy,  Me and my partner went for something different "triple take" combo were you choose 3 different dishes, also we had a side of chips, vegetables, salad which is free of charge and refillable! I would highly recommend it to all, Will definitely be returning.  Parking: One car park at the side  Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly.

Such a lovely place and the food was delicious  the chips could have been cooked a little more for my taste but that’s just my preference. The service was so hood and all the servers were friendly. I had a huge craving for home made onion rings and these made me SO HAPPY! They were delicious Food: 4/5
