Blown Cylinder head Gasket made me blow my gasket! He offers a NO refund, with plenty of quibble and blaming policy, even though it was within the 1st 30 days. Read the bottom of the paperwork very carefully before even signing and paying up, where it states we do not comply with the 2015 trading standards – but we don’t sell you junk either (yeh, right mine most certainly was a clunker). Bought a £1 500 car from Pete, while selling it to us he said he is not like those other guys that close their eyes and hope for the best (you could have fooled me). This car not only came with 8 faults that were a misaligned auxiliary belt, no air con (plenty of con without the air), 2 mot passes that failed, torn seats (I did not see this 1st time round), no display on lcd) But it also came with a Super Delux Bonus of a blown cylinder head gasket too (with a no refund and plenty of blaming me policy). My advice to anyone who wants to buy from here is take a good look at the reviews of 2 people who have already been sold unsatisfactory cars (some might even call it been swindled), where we can’t even get a refund within our 30 day right to reject. I only lost £1 500 (plus some other additional costs). What would happen if it were one of those £10, 000 cars? There are plenty of other guys in Tamworth with better ratings, I am sure they would be a much better choice, (if only I had found them earlier). It also seems rather strange or maybe even suspicious that this business is not even listed on Yell or 192? All I would advise is to keep on looking elsewhere. I have a great mechanic and MOT guy that both have a 5* rating to reflect their honesty and integrity (with NO negative reviews). Just so glad I never bought one of those £10, 000 motors he was selling would you? You never know what might happen. I wouldn’t even buy a bicycle from this guy, never mind a car. Please note: that this was my own personal buying experience and this does not necessarily mean that you would end up with a useless super deluxe banger with 8 faults and an all-inclusive blown cylinder head gasket and a NO refund plenty of quibble policy like I did. Nor am I implying that the Car Lot Tamworth are unethical in any way by trying to swindle you old junk as good quality used cars. The man who Blew a Gasket (because of the car with a blown cylinder head gasket)

I have used The Car Lot a number of times and found them very helpful. I went to see Pete at the Tamworth Office and told him what type of car i was looking for, and how much i was looking to spend. He found exactly the car i wanted in less than a week. He saved me loads of time looking around at cars. They even saved me £500 from the budget i originally told them.. great service and keep up the good work!!

I’ve bought 4 cars from this garage and any issues I’ve had which have been minor have been rectified promptly. 1st class service. Would recommend this car dealer to anyone far better than any others I have used in the past. Can only assume the negatives left are fictitious based on my experience

Brought a car from here Pete the salesman told me the only thing wrong with the car was that it needed a new starter motor. Installed new starter motor like he said. Told me it wasn’t any other problem after a few days of having it car constantly cuts out has a massive oil leak and won’t start properly took it back to garage and they refuse to pay to fix it or refused to give a full refund I’d advice everyone to stay away from this place.
