I absolutely adore this place with its quirky decor, warm welcomes and yummy cakes and shakes - Richard has also baked me some cakes for personal events and fret have always impressed
Fun,quirky decor. Fabulous cakes. Good choice of tea, coffee and milkshake. The staff are friendly and helpful. Quite a good menu for hot and cold food as well. You can sit outside at tables, still under cover as it's in the Craven Court.
Very friendly efficient service. Cakes always taste so good. My daughter got a panini this time which was delicious. Excellent decor and very clean during covid pandemic.
Great tea shop with cakes to make your eyes pop with amazement. We had a lovely afternoon cuppa served in a china tea pot with china cups and saucers. Very pleasant place. Cash only at the moment. No cards but definitely worth a visit,. Oh and very fast service too.

Came in today with my young family to be ignored by every single member of staff. Not very busy. Waitress took orders of people who arrived later than us, totally blanking us. There were 4 members of staff working. Very poor service. We were looking forward to eating here. Never again. After waiting to order for 15 minutes, we left.
The cak'ole at the moment is still closed due to the corona virus, However when it is open the food and coffee are great and all served by friendly helpful staff.
