Arranged with Gill to get a cake for my husbands birthday, the dairy was changed to vegan milk. I was so surprised even my family who hate vegan foods had seconds. Thank you Gill for such a lovely cake will definitely order from you again. Highly recommend. Dietary restrictions: Dairy
Just brilliant. My son was so happy with his Minecraft themed birthday cake, that I just have to give a 5 star review. It is really nice to find people with such talent, who offer a warm and professional service. I sent Gill a sketch and some images and she took it from there, and did a wonderful job. Perhaps not as technically challenging for her compared to the wedding cake designs, but it was exactly what I asked for. Thanks again!
Our wedding cake looked beautiful, and tasted amazing as well. From start to finish Gill was amazing. She was happy to make changes before the day, and was happy to listen to all requests. Nothing was to much to ask. I can't recommend the cake company enough for wedding cakes.
Gill did a fantastic job of making our wedding cake - 3 layers in chocolate, vanilla and lemon, all of which tasted amazing and got lots of compliments from our guests. Communication was quick and professional throughout, very reasonably priced and she really listened to the brief for the design I gave her and the end result was fantastic - even managing to make one of our layers vegan too! Would highly recommend Gill if you need a wedding cake and will be returning to her if we require any cakes in the future!
What incredible talent she has! We asked her to make a specialty cake for our son's 21st very last minute in the shape of music decks and she produced the most amazingly well detailed cake which, considering the effort that must have gone i to it, was very good value. Had bueno cake made for my daughters 21st wow it was delicious best cake ever had Decorated beautifully will 100% be ordering again for daughters birthday Very responsive with anything you want doing happy to make cake you want nothing to much trouble. Highly recommend

We have been using The Cake Company for nearly 6 years now, and travel over an hour to collect from Gill, because she is truly incredible at what she does. The cakes Gill has made us are absolutely stunning, every single time, and she always goes above and beyond to make them extra special. We have had birthday cakes, baby shower cakes, christening cakes and the rest, and they are all incredible. Fantastically priced for the quality of cake especially when you can see the amount of effort and time that goes into the cakes. Amazing communication and customer service. Highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much Gill!
We had a delicious wedding cake made by the cake company - Lemon Sponge with flowers from our florist and a football cake topper we had ordered too! Great experience from booking through to eating and would highly recommend to all!
