First time here with my partner and j thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The ambiance of the place felt very welcoming as you'd expect in a Welsh establishment. With a roaring log fire and the chatter of the regulars it set the scene.nnThe food was reasonably priced and the presentation was good for the food. The dish I ordered was as described and quite delicious. Fluffy soft and flaky white fish with gorgeous hand cut chips and mushy peas.nnWould definitely recommend for anyone especially for group bookings. You'll really enjoy your time there so get booking.
Fantastic local pub with amazing food, drink and of course staff. We have had numerous meals from the outstanding Sunday lunch to the budget menu, which by the way is more than worth the small amount of £16 foe 2 courses or £20 for 3, yes those prices are right!!! And another wonderful thing about this place, ITS DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!!
Great food. Super friendly staff. No reason to give this place anything below 5 stars.nnMy only criticism is that they should post a photo of the menu more frequently on their Facebook, as the menu changes day to day - this would give me motivation to come in if I see something on the menu that I really like.
Booked for Sunday lunch after having a couple of previous meals that were fantastic. Sunday dinner didn't not disappoint. Plates hot. Potions plentiful, staff lovely and friendly, place was spotless, would recommend and will be definitely be booking again
Had Sunday lunch, it's was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh. The pub is beautiful and comfortable and the staff can't do enough for you! We will definitely be going back!
