This is an excellent find! Small but totally adequate room with comfy bed and welcome tray. We had a delicious evening meal at great rates and the local beer was superb. Staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for Shane. Great nights sleep and hearty breakfast for an extremely competitive price. Highly recommend!

The service was absolutely amazing. Very informative when we needed help on where to travel next.nnThe breakfast was so nice I had to have two of them. I had the full English and the pancakes.nnThe rooms was clean and I had the best sleep. The beds are super comfortable and the parking was quick and easy for us to transfer our luggage to the hotel.nnHave a lovely bar downstairs as well. Will definitely be coming back if we come back up this waynnCan't thank them enough for such an amazing hospitality.

Business trip with husband. Fantastic food both evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Husband recommends the Chicken and ham pie with hand cut chips. YES not frozen. I recommended the chicken bacon and stilton with seasonal vegetables. Comfortable bed and room. Definitely will be back.

Great Sunday Lunch. Great Lasagne. Great beers. Great service. A proper pub thay hasn't been turned into the 'Gastro' trend, but is good for a drink, good for food, used by locals and good for sitting at the bar and chatting. Keep it going!
