Th3 fish and chips were brilliant. I know the place has just been refurbished, just be careful when leaving the car park its on a fast busy road.

The food was speedy and excellent, and the coffee some of the best I have had.  Plus they are in one of the most scenic areas of Durham.

Well worth a visit lovely clean pub friendky service and beautiful scenery.
Food is absoloutly amazing. Sunday dinners fantastic and hard pushed to get a seat.

Looked for someware to eat late lunch early tea. The only place open we were made very welcome we are vegie so we found the staff most obliging. Thy couldent do enough for us nothing was a trouble it was warm welcoming and there was nothing left on the plate 's ive never been anyware that made there own deserts from scratch ive been for sunday lunch that was top notch so many different  veg 3/4different meats you could have all  or one nothing is a bother we will be going again

My first visit, a Christmas meal with a dozen friends. The food was brilliant, a carvery, with lots of choice. The desserts were lovely, and decent sized too. Friendly staff made it even better.
