Amazing wee pub with plenty of cask ale on offer. A really cosy bar with a great atmosphere and big fireplace in the corner. Can see many lively evenings huddled around the hearth in the winter. It also has a beer garden that gets sun most of the day.
Very friendly family run bar with a lovely eclectic beer garden and a great choice of real ales. Always a nice warm atmosphere with a woodburnig stove. I love this pub
We entered the Brown Bull on a rainy Thursday afternoon. We parked our motorhome on the castle semple car park and went for a walk and a drink and found Laura at the Brown Bull. Warm stove, nice music and a very lovely smile.... and something to drink. A lovely place, only since 29 years. Go there, you will not be disappointed. Mac.
Nice space, decent ales but disappointing that there was none of the delicious sounding/looking meals described by previous reviewers. May go back for the odd quiz night but would frequent more often if they served good pub fare.
A proper real ale pub with a great atmosphere. The beer garden is a bizarre selection of recycled and home made nicknacks and a really cool place to sit and enjoy your dtinks
Great pub with character, fantastic outdoor space on the back, must go to if passing Lochwinnoch.
Top class, warm and friendly welcome from Laura. Easy going and treats customers well great atmosphere and ambience A good old fashioned pub with character. So glad me and the wife popped in here after visiting rspb reserve. Best pub food I have had in my life. Real fresh food, with texture and bursting with flavours Visited today and at a reasonable price to. Worth every penny Never experienced anything like it, the real deal this place. Where has this been all my life Steak pie at its best. And don't miss the fish beautiful food 10/10 Not to mention a lovely coffee. Compliments to the chef also.
Was ok as the barmaid/landlady was friendly but feel it could do with a bit of tlc
Excellent pub. A proper pub. Cask ales, real fire, dark wood, friendly welcome, stone walls and the best beer garden in Scotland.
Food was tasty and came out quickly, but maybe a bit on the pricey side. Staff were helpful, good atmosphere
