Nice little rooms, stayed here twice now. All the essential amenities available. Clean bedding. Basic beds. Walls are a little thin but as expected. Actual hot water from the bath taps which was nice
I can't comment on the rooms, I've never slept over, but I have heard the room are nice.nnI much prefer The Brocket over The moon under water.nThe Brocket is spacier, cleaner , not as cramped and it doesn't attract the sort of people that The moon would....nnLocation is good for starting off before heading on a crawl up Wigan lane.
This was a fantastic hotel pub where me and my friend went for a drink, welcoming from the very outside with the lush design and greenery! Staff were friendly in their service and pointing out the right counter, where we were served Zombie pitchers well made. Design is pretty through the vintage theme including chandeliers and Christmas decorations too, striped seating is comfortable and cleanliness had been enforced!
Managed to swap rooms due to the first one not quite ready. My replacement room was much better, although the shower only had very warm/hot water I did mention this on exit.nPleasant service at the bar from all servers.nNo pizzas, so I enjoyed the chicken wings basket.
Tuesday steak club. Hardly the best presented meal I have had in a Wetherspoons. I had to ask about the missing tomato and mushroom which were delivered on a separate plate.nYes…that is mashed potato. I will not risk eating here again.
