What a little gem The Buttery is. We had the BEST Afternoon Tea - and we've tried a few! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lee attended our table and was cheerful and attentive. The food and presentation was excellent with the fresh flower decorations a special touch. Staff were quick to assist by providing a ramp for my partners wheelchair too.

We called in here from a recommendation and we were nit disappointed. The food was first class and reasonably priced.  The staff were friendly and helpful and it's dog friendly bonus.

This is a delightful tearoom with lovely, helpful staff. The food was delicious and well presented. The menu is varied covering from cooked breakfasts to cream teas with sandwiches, salads and cakes in between. Dog friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Very warm and welcoming and appeared popular with those from the village as everyone seemed to know each other which is always nice. Priced pretty much as expected, was busy but just enough space to get us seated. Would recommend.

Smashing breakfast this morning using local produce,  Lovely location in the heart of the New Forest. Great menu, specials board from 12pm, lots of various scones & cakes / afternoon tea. Highly recommend  Food: 5/5

Went in for afternoon tea and had the chocolate fudge cake and off the specials the cherry cobbler with clotted cream. Both of which were fab and generous portions. Also good range of drinks.Recommended dishesGreat Afternoon Tea, Cake

One very  special place  to visit  if you happen to be in Brockenhurst Beautifully  cooked  breakfast with  equally good  fresh food . Even though I'm  a coffee  person  I choose to have  Earl Grey tea wonderful combination

Great place, stopped off for a spot of lunch, dog friendly, indoor and outdoor seating, really helpful and friendly staff, awesome selection of sweet treats like cakes and by fare the best cream tea I have had by far. Will be visiting again when in the area.

Wait to be seated on arrival. Lovely ladies who welcomed us and looked after us. Luxury tea was amazing and was too much for us and we had to take some home!

Okay, there's a massive issue here and it's the front of house serving. No organisation, ordering is in chaos. We had been sitting for at least 10 minutes, a waitress asked if we'd ordered, we said no, she then cleaned two tables next to us, walked off never to be seen again. Eventually I went up to the counter to be told to go back to my seat and then a waitress came and eventually took our order. The same happened to the couple opposite, the lady went up to the till after sitting there for 10-15 minutes, she returned to her seat. In the mean time a family came in and sat next to us. They were served almost straight away. This caused the young couple to get up and walk out in disgust. Another table had some of their order forgotten.  Once the order is in and the food arrives it is absolutely lovely, but this cafe/tea room is in DESPERATE need of a front of house manager and some organisation. God knows how much business the owner is losing. The one lady who really seemed switched on didn't have a name tag, but was young with a nose piercing. I feel without her the place would fall into total chaos.
