The owner of this B and B was extremely difficult to deal with. I had a non-refundable payment that happened to be over the weekend of the recent fire evacuation and temporary road closure Aug 18-20 in the Okanagan and Shuswap. Upon asking to be rebooked for a later weekend, I was told "no, there are other ways to reach Kelowna this weekend" at a time when the government was saying "restrict travel to emergency only". The only thing he was willing to do was for me to cancel and for him to rebook the room and refund the "net value" of the room. He rebooked within a few hours as there were thousands of evacuees. He refunded $250 out of $400 paid. No information was given to justify keeping the $150, other than vague "I have expenses" claims. I find his activity socially irresponsible for encouraging me to travel against official policy and to occupy a room that was obviously needed for evacuation purposes.
The room was very well kept and spotless. Service was the best I’ve had. The property’s and surrounding area is beautiful. Minutes walking distance from Kerry Park. BnB By The Bridge is my first choice for accommodation in Kelowna.Rooms: 5/5
Decent place, the location is good. One block away from the beach and 10 minutes walk to downtown. And mostly clean rooms. But the beds are small, not enough for 2 people. It's tight and uncomfortable. Couldn't sleep there. Good shower, but the toilet is so low.
Rooms are bizarre. There's so much stuff and decoration in the rooms lots of dust accumulates. Not a bed and breakfast lol they don't serve breakfast. Great location though.Rooms: 1/5
I really enjoyed my stay! Room was nice the management was amazing and very hospitable, you're made to feel comfortable and at home in a nice atmosphere in a beautiful area! 10/10 will be back Rooms: 5/5
Very unfriendly owner! Dirty, smelly, very cluttered room filled with random objects. Bed held up by laminate flooring boxes. Legs of bed had pipe lagging wrapped around them, stuck on with white tape. We cut our stay short and only lasted 1 night. Was supposed to be a b+b, but didn't do breakfast. This was not reflected in the price.Rooms: 1/5
The room said not pet friendly, & the person who checked us in INSISTED no animals have been in there, BUT there was an entire drawer full off dog food/treats left there. And as i cleaned up i found tons of animal hair in the rugs. The entire weeks stay not once were we givens clean towels or even an extra roll of toilet tissue. There were cob webs hanging from ceiling and an inch of dirt on top of shelves. AS WELL, I shoveled the walks just trying to be nice. Upon leaving they stood at door making us feel extremely uncomfortable, and then proceeded to call us a cab when we were waiting for our ride. Due to Christmas there was extra garbage, but even then no one came to dispose of it. You couldn't find anyone until of course check out when they basically pushed us out the door. As well i have readon to believe they entered the room while we were away, because bed was moved and blinded were drawn. Do not recommend.
A couple looking to have a nice weekend in kelowna this would be an excellent spot... minutes from dt and such a charming neighborhood. No need for a taxi from just about anywhere in thr dt area... only stayed the one night. So the layout of the room seemed off.. but if you were staying for the weekend it's perfectly set up to loungeRooms: 3/5
I do not recommend this B & B. The advertisement said Queen bed and futon. When I asked for the bedding for the futon I was told it wasn’t a bed. He said it could be used as one and I was handed sheets and pillows. The room is cluttered and clearly used as a storage room. The front yard is unkept and has debris. This B & B is currently for sale. I am very disappointed
Clean, close to town, in a nice neighborhood, quiet. Kinda sucks that there was no breakfast due to covid restrictions especially now where there are lots of individually wrapped meal options of cereal, oatmeal, croissants...etc. For the price, creative breakfast options would make the stay even better.Rooms: 4/5
