Great Atmosphere/Ambience for a Saturday afternoon. Good food and efficient service too. Footy on the big screen but you'll be disappointed if you want to hear the commentary, with music replacing the droning sounds of the football pundits!
Sadly our food tonight was really disappointing. We chose the brass house as the last time it was a great night. Tonight none of our meals were available jager schnitzel or onions on any hotdogs we weren't told about this before we ordered drinks. We changed our meals. The steak was not medium rare and was tough. The coleslaw was laughable. My sons didn't want a fuss and we were tired and hungry. Not recommended sadly.
Around £5 for normal beers and music too loud. But otherwise the food is good and the staff is friendly. As a German I also have to add that Brass Haus is not very authentically german and they even made a simple mistake in their german advertisement.
Great if you love lager. Unfortunately not one ale for sale draught or bottled. Informed its not something people drink in January. I don't think ill be back in any month unless the staff or bar change their stance.
fantastic internal atmosphere, good quality and value for food. staff were friendly, polite and extremely willing to assist. I ordered the classic bratwurst and the old fashioned cocktail. The bratwurst was charred beautifully, the inside was flavoursome and juicy; the included fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The cocktail was comprised of a smooth, high quality whiskey with a nice spin on the presentational garnish. Went down extremely well and fantastic value with the 2 for 1 deal. Overall I'm more than impressed for my first visit and have plans to return very soon!!
Had a Brilliant experience here!! Received a friendly welcome the minute I arrived : The food was excellent!! I was looked after by the lovely Jess behind the bar who brought out my order quickly and efficiently, I loved her bubbly personality, smiley face and great sense of humour. Due to mobility issues Cerebral Palsy I was unable to sit on the high stools and Jess accommodated my needs perfectly and made sure I was comfortable. Would definitely visit again <3
Very large pub but has plenty of character. Great for larger groups. TVs showing events but not intrusive unless you choose to sit in the larger space. I expect it would be great for group viewing. Lots of lager and drink choices but bitter and ale is very limited. Just Speckled Hen was available from the three pumps.
Would love to give this place more stars as the food is great and the cocktails are also very good. But every time I’ve been the music gets ramped up to club level volume when they’re still serving food and it makes it impossible to enjoy your food. The other issue with the music is that it’s poorly mixed and ends up being really harsh. We went on a Saturday evening to watch the football and have some food, but overall really didn’t enjoy it, as before 8pm the place had turned into a club. Doesn’t make sense to continue to serve food if you’re going to turn the place into a night club.
Recently went to Brass Haus, I love the decor. Was served by Annie she was polite and friendly. Food was good value for money, brought out hot. Annie checked everything was okay and we had all the condiments etc that we needed. Attentive service, good food and relaxed atmosphere, will definitely return.
Had a wonderful time, highly recommend. It's been a while since I'd visited the brass. Love the new decor, it's done wonders to change the atmosphere. We had food which was amazing value for money and couldn't fault it. What made the evening for me were the staff, friendly but professional.... especially Josh. He couldn't have been more accomidating for us Excellent staff, food and atmosphere 5/5
